• Guaranteed uptime: Our hosting service has extensive redundancy and real-time monitoring. This enables us to guarantee uptime for your hosted websites and applications, with Service Level Agreements tailored to your particular needs.
• Flexible server capacity: our data centre uses server virtualisation technology, which means you have sufficient server resources available during peak demand without having to pay for capacity you don’t need during quieter periods.
• High bandwidth: the data centre connects to four upstream bandwidth providers at three different facilities to ensure maximum uptime. Bandwidth is provided in 1Mbps units, dynamically burstable up to 100Mbps.
• Resilience: service will continue through most physical hardware failures. Our data centre is supplied by diverse routes from a main electricity board substation, and has a pair of 2MW generators to maintain the power supply, in the event of an outage, for at least seven days. Your hosted installation is also protected by advanced cooling and fire prevention systems, with built-in redundancy.
• Security: our hosting facility has security staff on site, 24x7, with offsite backup in the event of a major incident. Internal and external CCTV cameras, motion detection and key fob access systems create an extremely secure environment, with multiple layers of defence against physical intrusion.
